Today’s tutorial is all about “Deconstructing” cards so that you can CASE any card without having the measurements. I’m going to show you how I “eyeball” it and my secret for CASEing cards without instructions. I love to flip through our catalogs and brochures to find inspiration to craft my projects. I CASE a lot of cards, sometimes with directions, but most of the time I wing it. I think of it like a puzzle, and find it fun! What are some of your best tips for re-creating a project you’ve seen? Let me know by commenting on my video or on this post!

I’d like to challenge you to figure out the measurements on this card yourself! Write down your guesses, and then watch the video above to see if you were close!

Hello Kre8tors! Thanks so much for joining me today for the Inspire, Create, & Share Blog Hop! For my project, I decided to CASE the Sale-A-Bration brochure. There are a lot of amazing projects and inspiration waiting to be crafted! I used the Hello Cupcake Sale-A-Bration set and created these two cards. I used every color from the 2017-2019 In Colors to stamp on both of these cards. Can you name all 5 colors without peeking at the products? If you love those colors, snag them quick! They will retire this year, and may start selling out as we get closer to the end of the current Annual Catalog!
The first card has a Soft Sea Foam card base and features a watermark effect with the sprinkles stamp. I achieved this look by using the same color Stampin’ Pad to stamp the sprinkles. I also used Powder Pink, Berry Burst, and Soft Suede.
The banner is one of my favorite parts on this card! It’s so easy to make and whips up in no time with a little scoring and a little snipping. See how I made it by watching my tutorial at the end of this post, or by visiting my YouTube channel.
The second card I CASE’d from the Sale-A-Bration Brochure is this adorable miniature card. It measures 3-1/2″ square and features the cupcake again, only this time I used Tranquil Tide, Lemon Lime Twist and Fresh Fig.
I added some washi tape behind the cupcake, and stamped my sentiment in Memento ink on a piece of Vellum cardstock. I fussy cut out the frosting, however if you purchase the Sale-A-Bration Coordination item, Call Me Cupcake Framelits, you won’t need to fussy cut! I also added a couple frosted epoxy droplets and boom! This card was finished!
I really hope you enjoyed my projects today! Thanks so much for stopping by and be sure to click the next button below to hop along to Darla’s awesome project.

Hello, Kre8tors! I’m Melissa from Melissa’s Kre8tions. Welcome back to the 2018 Kre8tors Blog Hop! Today we are celebrating Autumn with a color challenge! I’ve provided our hop participants with the following color palette to create their projects. I think they’ve all done an amazing job, what do you think? If you’d like to create your own project using this color scheme, upload a picture of your finished project to social media and tag me on your post so that I can see your wonderful creation and share it with my followers! See the Social Media buttons at the bottom of this post to find out where you can share!
So, our color challenge theme is Autumn, and the photo above is the inspiration for our color palette. I challenged our lovely demonstrators with using at least 3 out of 5 of the colors above, and in addition to those, they are allowed to use black, white, and vanilla. Here’s what I came up with!
As I was perusing Pinterest, I came across a photo that had a beautiful dark background with colorful leaves all over. I clicked on the photo to find out more, however there was no link to follow. The only information that was on the pin said Patsy Collins and Josephs Coat Technique. She did a great job using the photo to show step by step how this technique works. I wanted to recreate her technique using the beautiful Rooted in Nature stamp set. I am in LOVE with how it turned out!
The colors I chose to use are Pumpkin Pie, Real Red, and Granny Apple Green. We were allowed to use Black and Whisper White as well. I think these colors are so beautiful together! They remind me of Autumn and rainbow sherbet ice cream! Yum!
Check out my video tutorial to learn how to make this fun and colorful background using the Joseph’s Coat Technique! Don’t forget to hop around to all of the very talented demonstrators that are part of our wonderful Kre8tors Blog Hop! They’ve all worked very hard on these projects! Click the next button below, and use the Roll Call list if you get lost along the way.

The next card in my Clean & Quick Cards SERIES is this Daisy Delight Thank You Card. It features three colors of ink, polka dots, and a simple Thank You sentiment. I love how clean this card looks, and also how quick it was to whip together! There are so many different color possibilities with this style, I can’t wait to make more!
The circle I used for the polka dot on this simple card is from the Daisy Delight stamp set. It’s the circle that is supposed to be used for the middle of the daisy. I love taking bits and pieces from a stamp set to make something completely different than its intended use! What colors would you use to make a card like this one?

I’m so glad I’ve received such a positive response to my new series, Clean & Quick Cards! Thank you everyone for letting me know how much you love this series! Here’s card #5 using Colorful Seasons to get a clean & quick card.
One of the reasons I love these clean & quick cards so much is they are really easy to mail. Sometimes the popped up or embellished cards can make it difficult to mail, but most of these cards are stamped flat which make them ideal to pop in an envelope and mail to someone special.
Remember, you can get all the materials to make these cards in my shop! Your support helps me continue to do what I love which is to make videos that you enjoy watching. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for watching, commenting, and purchasing your supplies from me!
