ICS Blog Hop Hello Cupcake

Hello Kre8tors! Thanks so much for joining me today for the Inspire, Create, & Share Blog Hop! This month we are SALE-A-BRATE’ing with some amazing products you can earn for FREE with a qualifying purchase! I’ll be showcasing the Hello Cupcake stamp set and teaching you how to put these adorable cards together! Be sure to scroll to the end of the post and click that Next button to hop along to the other wonderfully talented Stampin’ Up! Independent Demonstrators that are collaborating in this hop!

For my project, I decided to CASE the Sale-A-Bration brochure. There are a lot of amazing projects and inspiration waiting to be crafted! I used the Hello Cupcake Sale-A-Bration set and created these two cards. I used every color from the 2017-2019 In Colors to stamp on both of these cards. Can you name all 5 colors without peeking at the products? If you love those colors, snag them quick! They will retire this year, and may start selling out as we get closer to the end of the current Annual Catalog!

The first card has a Soft Sea Foam card base and features a watermark effect with the sprinkles stamp. I achieved this look by using the same color Stampin’ Pad to stamp the sprinkles. I also used Powder Pink, Berry Burst, and Soft Suede.

The banner is one of my favorite parts on this card! It’s so easy to make and whips up in no time with a little scoring and a little snipping. See how I made it by watching my tutorial at the end of this post, or by visiting my YouTube channel.

The second card I CASE’d from the Sale-A-Bration Brochure is this adorable miniature card. It measures 3-1/2″ square and features the cupcake again, only this time I used Tranquil Tide, Lemon Lime Twist and Fresh Fig.

I added some washi tape behind the cupcake, and stamped my sentiment in Memento ink on a piece of Vellum cardstock. I fussy cut out the frosting, however if you purchase the Sale-A-Bration Coordination item, Call Me Cupcake Framelits, you won’t need to fussy cut! I also added a couple frosted epoxy droplets and boom! This card was finished!

I really hope you enjoyed my projects today! Thanks so much for stopping by and be sure to click the next button below to hop along to Darla’s awesome project.

1-YEAR STAMPIVERSARY!

img_4026

Today marks my 1-Year Stampiversary! I’m so excited that I’ve been BACK at it again for a year already!

In celebration of my Stampiversary, I’m offering $10 MORE in your Melissa’s Kre8tions Cash Rewards when you redeem a voucher!

Here are the details:

For every $250 before shipping and tax you spend with me, you earn $15 in Melissa’s Kre8tions Cash (MKC) towards any product of your choice!* BUT for the next two days I am adding another $10 to the reward you will be eligible to earn by placing an order!

So, for example, if you place any size order between Friday, Dec 2 and Saturday, Dec 3 I will make your voucher $25 instead of $15 when you make it to your $250 mark. You can take up to 1 year to hit your $250 mark, and you’ll still get that $25 instead of $15 MKC Reward! This applies to EVERYONE, not just current customers!

*For more details on my rewards program, just click HERE!

In case you don’t know my story, here’s a little background…

I grew up in a very creative environment. My mom is a sewer, quilter, and crafty lady. My Aunt taught me how to use my very first rubber stamp before I was in school. I always loved heading to her house at the beach and stamping with her magnificent inventory!

In 2005, my friend invited me to a Stampin’ Up! party. I fell in love and signed up that week! I had a pretty good customer base, mostly in my family circle. A few years later, I wasn’t able to keep up with my little business as I was attending College and doing both just wasn’t working out at the time. So, I left to finish school.

Once I was done, I found myself with more free time and found a new demonstrator, my previous demonstrator had left the company. I signed back up and was SO excited! I quickly grew my customer base to reach friends of family members, and had my first downline sign up with me! Things were great!

Again, a few years after that I went through some hard personal times and couldn’t put any time or money into my then struggling business venture. I reluctantly had to leave the company I loved so much once again.

Fast forward to December 2, 2015… I had another opportunity to return to what I had always loved, and being in a more stable place in my life, decided it was finally time to get back to it! I signed up under the same demonstrator as before and started my venture again!

Now I’m going strong and not looking back! I met both of my quick start goals, and advanced two titles in my first year. I have two wonderful downlines and a growing YouTube channel. I’m loving every minute of what I do and can’t wait to see what the next year or 10 brings! 🙂
