Moving Along

So the past few weeks have been really crazy.  My boyfriend and I have just moved into an apt and we’ve been really busy trying to get everything packed and moved.  We’re just about all set up now.  We have internet access anyway, and that’s the most important!  So anyway, here’s a sneak peak at my new home.

This is the Kitchen looking into my “Craft Room” or “Office” as I call it when Matt’s around.  😉

MY Kitchen

My lovely knit hats hanging on the back of the Craft Room door.  From left to right: Fair Isle hat in Ultra Alpacca, Rolled Brim hat in Ultra Tweed, Cable Rimmed hat in Blue Moon yarn, Ribbed Lace hat in Dream in Color Classy, and my very own pattern and homespun, Shetland in Sea Mist.

I’ve been practicing on my beading as well with these “One of a Kind” stitch markers. . . 😉

And here is my Noro Stash that I am making my Entrelac Shawl with.  It called for 15 skeins, I have about 2 3/4 skeins in it so far. . .don’t think I’m going to use all 15.

And so that’s what I have been up to lately.  I have also started a wonderful sock pattern from Ravelry out of Happy Feet.  It’s so gorgeous and fun to knit!  I can’t wait to get these ones done!  Not much to report on the spinning front, though I will be going to another fiber sale on the 19th!  More fiber posts to come, I promise!

Ribbed Lace Hat

So I made my ribbed lace hat to match my ribbed lace bolero that I made from a pattern at ravelry.com.  I love it!  It fits really well and I used the same yarn as my bolero, Dream in Color Classy in Ruby River.  Here are a few pictures!  I improvised this design, but I might put it up later if there is any interest.

And that’s my hat!  I’ll post some bolero pics soon. . .I have to find the right outfit first.  😉  I think I’ll try to finish up some UFO’s before I begin anything else though.
