The Kre8tors First VLOG Hop

Welcome Kre8tors! So excited to have you here for the first Kre8tors VLOG Hop! Today we are sharing our projects via YouTube videos! So head on over to my YouTube channel to get started. Once there, click on the description of the video to hop along to everyone’s projects.

I absolutely love CASEing (Copy And Share Everything) the catalogs. Not only can we use our catalogs to find great products to buy, but we can also use it as a design book! There are so many beautiful projects in there, the possibilities are nearly endless!

I chose to CASE one of the cards from the Forever Greenery Suite Collection on page 108 in the brand new Annual Catalog. I was so pleased with how this card turned out. It came together very quickly with all of the coordinating products from the collection.

I love the speckled background. I used the speckled stamp from the Forever Fern stamp set and stamped it onto the embossed background in the same color as my card stock. It gives it a watermark effect and just adds a little texture.

The leaves are all cut out of the designer series paper using the coordinating die cuts. I love that Stampin’ Up! designs their products to all play together so well. It makes crafting so simple and quick!

Watch my video below to see how this card came together.

ISS Blog Hop May 2020 Annual Catalog Sneak Peek

Hello Kre8tors and welcome to another Blog Hop! I’m so excited to be sharing a sneak peek of the new 2020-2021 Annual Catalog with you today! I received my pre-order and wanted to make a card using the Forever Greenery Suite Collection. Come and see what I made and watch my YouTube tutorial to see an unboxing of my pre-order!

We are hopping with the Ink. Stamp. Share. Blog Hop today! Be sure to scroll down to the bottom of the post and click that Next button when you’re done here to hop along to the next amazing project!

I wanted to play with this suite collection right away, and there’s no better way to get started than to CASE (Copy And Share Everything) the catalog! I started off with a standard card base in Whisper White. Then I chose a background piece from the Forever Gold Laser-Cut Specialty Paper. I noticed on the card in the catalog from page 108 they glued this piece gold side down. As much as I didn’t want to do this, I did it anyway, and I really do love how it turned out!

Next I embossed a piece of Pretty Peacock card stock with one of the embossing folders from the Greenery set. I trimmed it down to a thin 1/2″ banner. I stamped two leaf images in Pear Pizzazz, one full ink, and one without re-inking for a lighter image. This is called second generation stamping. I then stamped four of the rounded leaves/berries in Pretty Peacock using the same method.

I picked out a few more pieces from the Forever Gold Laser-Cut Specialty Paper to include in my arrangement. After getting my placement down, I adhered all the small cut pieces using a combination of liquid glue and glue dots. Then I added the banner.

The gold hoop is attached to the back of the sentiment with tear and tape adhesive, then Stampin’ Dimensionals pop it up off the background. I died some of the trim from the Trim Combo pack using my Classic Stampin’ Pad and a Sponge Dauber, and then tied it into a bow to add to the top.

I’m so pleased with how this card turned out! CASEing the catalog when you need some inspiration, or just a quick crafting session is a great way to get started. Check out my YouTube tutorial below for specifics on this card and to see my preorder unboxing!

Stamper’s Showcase All You Need is Love

Hello Kre8tors and welcome to another Blog Hop! I’m Melissa Tennison and I’m an Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator in Oregon, USA. We are hopping with the Stampers Showcase Blog Hop today! Be sure to scroll down to the bottom of the post and click that Next button when you’re done here to hop along to the next amazing project!

The projects I’m sharing with you today are a couple of masculine cards featuring brayer colored hearts and silver heat embossing. I have never played with brayers before, but after making these brayer colored hearts, I think I’m in love!

For the first card, I put down a silver foil mat, then cut out a heart using the Be Mine Stitched Dies. I also brayer colored a scrap of Whisper White cardstock with Pretty Peacock and Mango Melody. Then I cut some smaller hearts out of that.

I heat embossed my sentiment in silver embossing powder on a piece of vellum. Behind the vellum is a small strip of Pretty Peacock cardstock to accentuate the sentiment.

I had quite a few pieces left over, so I decided to make a second card. For the large heart, I used the die cut from the previous card and heat embossed the sentiment in silver embossing powder.

Then I used the leftover brayer colored hearts and staggered them using dimensionals and glue dots. I love how these colored hearts turned out! Have you used a brayer before? I highly recommend you give it a try! It’s so much fun seeing the colors roll and blend. Take a peek at my video tutorial below!

Measurements:

Card Bases: 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″, Score @ 4-1/4″
Silver Foil and Pretty Peacock Mats: 4″ x 5-1/4″
Whisper White Mat for Card 1: 3-3/4″ x 5″
Pretty Peacock Strip for Card 1: 1-1/4″ x 4-1/4″
Vellum Strip for Card 1: 1-1/2″ x 4-1/4″
Scrap Whisper White for Hearts

ICS Blog Hop Fabulous Fall

Hello Kre8tors and welcome to another Blog Hop! We are hopping with the Inspire, Create, & Share Blog Hop today! The theme this month is Fabulous Fall and I am BEYOND EXCITED about this one! I love everything Fall! Colder weather, cozy snuggles, glowing candles, warm beverages… Ahhh! So much YES! Join us as we celebrate my favorite season with some beautiful Fall inspired projects!

Be sure to scroll down to the bottom of the post and click that Next button when you’re done here to hop along to the next amazing project!

I decided to take a Christmas set and turn it into my Fall inspiration for this blog hop. I used the Tidings All Around bundle from the brand new Holiday Catalog (which is live TODAY!) with some of our brand new In Colors to create this wonderful wreath.

The sentiment “I am thankful for you” came from a classic set, Painted Harvest, which is available in the Annual Catalog. It’s a beautiful set, one which I almost used for this month’s project, but I opted to challenge myself and see how I could turn a Christmas stamp set into a Fall project.

The wreath was cut from some Pretty Peacock cardstock, and the branch and “wheat” top accents are done with Early Espresso and Terracotta Tile. I really love the punch of rusty-orange the Terracotta Tile lends to this project. I think it really ties together the colors and screams Fall!

I’m so THANKFUL that you stopped by to see my project today! Don’t forget to hop along to Audra’s blog to see what exciting project she has created for you! Click the Next button below!
