ICS Blog Hop Fabulous Fall

Hello Kre8tors and welcome to another Blog Hop! We are hopping with the Inspire, Create, & Share Blog Hop today! The theme this month is Fabulous Fall and I am BEYOND EXCITED about this one! I love everything Fall! Colder weather, cozy snuggles, glowing candles, warm beverages… Ahhh! So much YES! Join us as we celebrate my favorite season with some beautiful Fall inspired projects!

Be sure to scroll down to the bottom of the post and click that Next button when you’re done here to hop along to the next amazing project!

I decided to take a Christmas set and turn it into my Fall inspiration for this blog hop. I used the Tidings All Around bundle from the brand new Holiday Catalog (which is live TODAY!) with some of our brand new In Colors to create this wonderful wreath.

The sentiment “I am thankful for you” came from a classic set, Painted Harvest, which is available in the Annual Catalog. It’s a beautiful set, one which I almost used for this month’s project, but I opted to challenge myself and see how I could turn a Christmas stamp set into a Fall project.

The wreath was cut from some Pretty Peacock cardstock, and the branch and “wheat” top accents are done with Early Espresso and Terracotta Tile. I really love the punch of rusty-orange the Terracotta Tile lends to this project. I think it really ties together the colors and screams Fall!

I’m so THANKFUL that you stopped by to see my project today! Don’t forget to hop along to Audra’s blog to see what exciting project she has created for you! Click the Next button below!

January KBH Tic Tac Toe Challenge

Hello Kre8tors, and welcome back to the Kre8tors Blog Hop! We are a group of Stampin’ Up! Independent Demonstrators from around the world getting together to bring you some beautiful handcrafted projects. Today we have a challenge to follow! The Tic Tac Toe Challenge, also known as Noughts & Crosses.

I’m also opening this challenge up to YOU! That’s right, just create your project using three of the items in a row, column, or diagonal line from the graphic above and post your creation on social media using the hashtag #kre8torstictactoejanuary and I will pick someone to be featured in the next Kre8tors Blog Hop post. Submit your projects using this hashtag on social media by Sunday, February 3rd!

We were tasked with using products from the brand new 2019 Occasions Catalog or Sale A Bration Brochure. If you’d like to see this catalog and flyer, ask your demonstrator for copies. If I’m your demonstrator, or you don’t yet have one, click on my Catalogs link to check out the electronic copies.

I decided to use the Meant To Be Bundle which includes the all new Cling mount stamps along with the coordinating Framelits Dies. I absolutely love the stitching around several of these die cut pieces and can’t wait to show off my Galentine’s Day project samples for you! Coming soon!

I decided to complete a diagonal line on our Tic Tac Toe Challenge graphic, using Sequins, a Punch, and Ribbon on my card today. The colors I featured are Grapefruit Grove and Mint Macaron. these two colors compliment each other so well, and I really love how the Grapefruit Grove matches the Basic Adhesive Backed Sequins I used.

I used the Classic Label Punch to punch out each line on the sentiment to give it a little more interest over the stamped heart. And finally I used our Classic Weave Ribbon in Crumb Cake to really tie all of these elements together. I can’t find the original designer for this card, so if it looks familiar to you, leave me a comment and let me know who I can credit for the inspiration!

Check out my Video Tutorial below to see this card come together, and to learn more about Sale A Bration, how it works, and what you can earn! Plus I have a bonus #simplestamping project featuring the Hello Cupcake stamp set I earned for FREE!

Beautiful Blizzard Holiday Card

Hello Kre8tors! Welcome back, so glad you are joining me today for some craftiness on this blustery day! I am so glad that my family shares my love and passion for stamping and crafting. My mother is one of my biggest supporters, both emotionally and financially. She has quite the collection of Stampin’ Up!®️ products, so we often get to “borrow” each other’s things. I did just that with this Beautiful Blizzard set.

She purchased this set, with no real projects in mind. Sometimes those are the BEST purchases, because then you can be inspired by so many other wonderful crafters. My mother handed me this set and said, show me what I can make. So, I took to Pinterest and came across Krista Driessen’s Beautiful Blizzard card. She inspired me to CASE her card, and it’s absolutely stunning!

The only color that I used from her original project was Soft Sea Foam. The other colors I incorporated include Gray Granite, Smoky Slate, and Coastal Cabana. I also threw in some Linen Thread, Basic Adhesive Backed Sequins, and Rhinestones. I totally love this clean and quick card and can’t wait to make my Holiday cards with this design and loads of colors!

Some of my most favorite cards are often the simplest. I love the cards that involve a lot of stamping, like this design. There are lots of beautiful stamps in different colors, and then a pop of accents here and there. It’s flat, with the exception of the raised sentiment, though that could be stamped flat on the card base and would look beautiful as well. Take a peek at my video tutorial to see how my version of this card came together!

The Beautiful Blizzard stamp set can be bundled with the Blizzard Thinlits Die to save you 10%! Be sure to stay tuned as my next project will feature both of these amazing products!

Elegant CASEd Card with Winter Woods & the Stamparatus

Today we are using some “Pinspiration” for this gorgeous and elegant CASE’d card using the Winter Woods Bundle. I know, I know… maybe you are getting a little tired of seeing the Winter Woods Bundle in action, but I can’t help it! It’s such a fun set to play with! And this elegant card was CASE’d from a card by Mary Fish of Stampin’ Pretty. Her card was so gorgeous I had to recreate one of my own!

I used Smoky Slate for the card mat, and Gray Granite for the stamped images. Silver Foil accented the sprigs behind the Stitched Shapes Framelit and a bit of Linen Thread tied it together well. The vellum makes a beautiful, soft accent to really enhance the elegant qualities of the card.

You know how much I like my bling, so I decided to add a few Rhinestones to the sentiment. All in all, this card turned out well and was so much fun to put together! I used this card in my Winter Woods Bundle class that I held a few weekends ago. It was a huge success, and everyone loved the background featuring the amazing Stamparatus! See it in action in my video below!

Measurements:

Whisper White Cardbase: 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″, Scored @ 4-1/4″
Smoky Slate Mat: 3-3/4″ x 5″
Whisper White for Stamped Trees: 3-1/4″ x 4-1/2″
Vellum: 2-3/4″ x 4″
Whisper White for Sentiment: Approximately 3″ x 3″
Silver Foil for Sprigs: Approximately 3″ x 6″

Welcome back Kre8tors! I recently found myself needing a birthday card for my grandmother and knew right away I was going to choose Rooted in Nature. This set definitely embodies her spirit with the trees and leaves. Green is a color she’s always been drawn to, so I knew I had to use Shaded Spruce.

I had so much fun CASE’ing this card from Angelique over at Stempelkeuken. She did a lovely job, and when I saw this card I knew it had to be a birthday card for my grandmother! Check out the video tutorial I posted below to see how it all came together!
