Honey Bee Bundle SAB Part 1 and Kre8tors Blog Hop Mini Catalog

Welcome Kre8tors! So excited to have you here for the Kre8tors Blog Hop! Be sure to use that Next button below to hop along to the next amazing blog post for some more floral inspiration! Now, onto a very beautiful and special project using the Honey Bee Bundle and some GORGEOUS Specialty DSP from the Sale-A-Bration flyer!

I CASE’d this project from page 10 of the Sale-A-Bration flyer. I have already CASE’d one of them in a previous post, and will be CASE-ing the other in an upcoming post. I wanted to share this card with you because it uses some of the amazing gold foil papers from the Golden Honey Speciality DSP. When I first saw this paper, I knew I HAD to have it! There was no ifs, ands, or buts about it! And you bet I will be spending additional SAB rewards I earn on MORE!

This was a simple card to make, but it offers SO much! The stunning black background with the pops of Coastal Cabana… the delicate gold foil bee under the simple and small ‘Hello’ sentiment… the subtle hint of Coastal Cabana in the honeycomb under the gold bee… this card is packed full of beautiful details!

The best part about this paper? It’s absolutely FREE with a qualifying purchase! Just $50 in product will earn you a free item out of the Sale-A-Bration flyer. So that means if you purchased the Honey Bee Bundle, that gorgeous Daffodil Delight Ruched Ribbon, and an adhesive, you can get the Golden Honey Specialty DSP for FREE! Ask your demonstrator for details, or if you don’t have a demonstrator or are new to Stampin’ Up! go ahead and send me a message! I’d love to help you out!

The best part about CASE-ing the catalogs and flyers is that on some pages, Stampin’ Up! tells you exactly what you need to create these projects. On page 10 of the Sale-A-Bration Flyer, they give you a list of products you will need to create three beautiful projects. I followed that list to create this card, however I wasn’t able to get my hands on the beautiful Daffodil Delight Ruched Ribbon when I made this card, so I substituted for the Metallic Baker’s Twine that came in the Baker’s Twine & Sequins Combo Pack, which is also a Sale-A-Bration item you can earn for FREE with a qualifying purchase.

Check out my video tutorial below to find out how this beautiful card came together. And be sure to subscribe to my YouTube channel for more great tutorials!

December Christmas Inspiration for Kre8tors Blog Hop

It’s time to get Komfy, it’s time to get Kozy, it’s time to get Kre8tiv! Welcome back Kre8tors! Today we have a super fun blog hop for you to follow because we are showcasing Christmas Cards! To me, nothing beats a cold, wintery day bundled up inside with some hot coffee, a huge sweater, and craft time! So come hop along with some amazingly talented Stampin’ Up!®️Independent Demonstrators from around the world and get inspired during our Kre8tors Blog Hop!

I am so in love with these cards, it’s ridiculous! They just seem super cozy to me, and I’m not sure if it’s because it reminds me of a house and Christmas time, or just what it is… Of course I was scouring Pinterest for some inspiration and came across a post from The Paper Collage with a cute little French Door Gatefold Card. I definitely had to CASE it and tweak some aspects to be able to use the materials that I had on hand.

For the red card I used Cherry Cobbler Cardstock and Whisper White Craft Ink for the distressed areas. I used Very Vanilla on the inside and stamped the sentiment with Cherry Cobber ink. The greenery on the doors is done with Shaded Spruce Cardstock, and the bow is made out of some Whisper White Baker’s Twine. I added two little silver brads for the door knobs, and YAY! French Doors!

The second card is a little more elegant, with a Whisper White base and metallic accents. You can see how it all came together in my video tutorial below!

Measurements:

Whisper White Cardbase: 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″, score @ 2-1/8″ from each end.
Whisper White Panels (2 of each size):
1-3/4″ x 3-1/4″
1-1/2″ x 3″
1-1/2″ x 1-3/4″
1-1/4″ x 1-1/2″
Whisper White Mat: 3-3/4″ x 5″
Shaded Spruce Mat: 4″ x 5-1/4″
Champagne Foil: Scrap approximately 2″ x 5″

Sunken Images Card with Paisleys & Posies

I really have been loving the Eclipse cards lately, but this is more like the reverse eclipse card that I did with the Painted Harvest stamp set and the alphabets framelits dies. The idea is to have a detailed stamp behind a framelit cutout to make the image appear to be “sunken” into the card. Using different metallic embossing powders is a fun touch to this different card. I can’t wait to play around with this technique and other bundles! What bundle do you have that you think would work well with this technique?

I will post a few more of these Clean & Quick videos, but I want you to let me know if you like these videos. If you do, I’ll keep them coming! And if you don’t, that’s okay! I want to make something that YOU enjoy watching! 😀

Gold Arrows Birthday Card

When I was visiting family over the past weekend, I went into a really fun store and picked up the most GORGEOUS mug! It has a teal-blue color on the handle and on the inside, with beautiful shiny gold arrows, and encouraging words in black. I love this new mug so much, I was inspired to make a card to match!

I used the Hello Gorgeous stamp set to create this fun and simple card, with just a few crafting essentials! I had some tough decisions to make while creating these cards, so comment and let me know which is your favorite!
