ICS Blog Hop Hello Cupcake

Hello Kre8tors! Thanks so much for joining me today for the Inspire, Create, & Share Blog Hop! This month we are SALE-A-BRATE’ing with some amazing products you can earn for FREE with a qualifying purchase! I’ll be showcasing the Hello Cupcake stamp set and teaching you how to put these adorable cards together! Be sure to scroll to the end of the post and click that Next button to hop along to the other wonderfully talented Stampin’ Up! Independent Demonstrators that are collaborating in this hop!

For my project, I decided to CASE the Sale-A-Bration brochure. There are a lot of amazing projects and inspiration waiting to be crafted! I used the Hello Cupcake Sale-A-Bration set and created these two cards. I used every color from the 2017-2019 In Colors to stamp on both of these cards. Can you name all 5 colors without peeking at the products? If you love those colors, snag them quick! They will retire this year, and may start selling out as we get closer to the end of the current Annual Catalog!

The first card has a Soft Sea Foam card base and features a watermark effect with the sprinkles stamp. I achieved this look by using the same color Stampin’ Pad to stamp the sprinkles. I also used Powder Pink, Berry Burst, and Soft Suede.

The banner is one of my favorite parts on this card! It’s so easy to make and whips up in no time with a little scoring and a little snipping. See how I made it by watching my tutorial at the end of this post, or by visiting my YouTube channel.

The second card I CASE’d from the Sale-A-Bration Brochure is this adorable miniature card. It measures 3-1/2″ square and features the cupcake again, only this time I used Tranquil Tide, Lemon Lime Twist and Fresh Fig.

I added some washi tape behind the cupcake, and stamped my sentiment in Memento ink on a piece of Vellum cardstock. I fussy cut out the frosting, however if you purchase the Sale-A-Bration Coordination item, Call Me Cupcake Framelits, you won’t need to fussy cut! I also added a couple frosted epoxy droplets and boom! This card was finished!

I really hope you enjoyed my projects today! Thanks so much for stopping by and be sure to click the next button below to hop along to Darla’s awesome project.

Supplies Haul & Occasions Samples

Oh boy Kre8tors, you’re in for a real surprise today! Not only do I have a super long chit chat video for you to enjoy, but I’m sharing TWO amazing projects with you using products from the Occasions catalog! I’m so excited about these! Let’s get started!

This card was made using the Floral Romance Suite products on page 11 from the Occasions Catalog. I used almost all the products in this suite, except for two! I started with a piece of Petal Pink from the Floral Romance 12″ x 12″ Cardstock Pack, which includes the three colors that coordinate with the Specialty Designer Series Papers.

I love that this cardstock comes in a larger size, perfect for 3D projects such as boxes. I decided to cut my piece down to a standard card base. I then cut a card mat and ran it through the Big Shot Die Cutting and Embossing Machine with the Lace Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. It gave this card such a huge pop!

I fussy cut by hand some of the leaf bunches from the vellum sheet in the Floral Romance Specialty DSP pack. I didn’t cut as many as I wanted, because I was making this card during a live Facebook video and wanted to cut down the time. It is still gorgeous with fewer pieces! I also cut out some sprigs of plain vellum using the coordinating Wonderful Floral Framelits Dies.

Curious how to see my live videos and sneak peeks? Simply place an order with me, or join my team! You will then gain exclusive access to my closed VIP Stamp Lounge on Facebook! You can also follow my public business page on Facebook to see updates and other news!

I stamped the sentiment in Fresh Fig and cut it out using this beautiful detailed oval from the coordinating die set. And finally, after gluing it all down, I added the beautiful Floral Romance seal. These seals are great because it adds so much flair and they come on the sheet sticky, ready to go!

Floral Romance Measurements:

Petal Pink Card Base: 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″, Score @ 4-1/4″
Petal Pink Card Mat: 4″ x 5-1/4″
Whisper White Scrap
Vellum Scrap
Floral Romance Specialty DSP: Decorative Vellum Scraps

Floral Romance Materials:

$110.00

And now for our SECOND card of this post! We are featuring the Amazing Life Bundle with those INCREDIBLE and AMAZING Rectangle Stitched Framelits Dies! You HAVE to see what these babies can do! Be sure to head over and check out my corresponding YouTube video!

This card was super simple, takes very few materials, and was so much fun to put together! I started with one color, Bermuda Bay, and added some Whisper White cardstock. I used the Rectangle Stitched Framelits Dies to cut out a frame and the center portion. Then I used my Stamparatus to place my images in the coordinating Classic Stampin’ Pad color.

I adhered the outer frame down with our Snail Adhesive and I popped up the center piece with some of our Stampin’ Dimensionals. The last few finishing touches included tying a bit of Whisper White Baker’s Twine around the center piece and placing a few Basic Jewel Rhinestones. That’s it! Super simple, really quick, and fun!

Amazing Life Measurements:

Bermuda Bay Card Base: 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″, Score @ 4-1/4″
Whisper White Frame & Center: Start with 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″

March Paper Pumpkin Pop Up Blog Hop

Hello everyone and welcome to the first ever Paper Pumpkin Pop Up Blog Hop! I am so excited to be part of such a wonderful blog hop featuring alternate projects for the March 2018 Paper Pumpkin Kit by Stampin’ Up! There are some amazing projects featured by very talented demonstrators, so please be sure to scroll down to the next button to check out all of the other blogs!

I love the shabby-chic vibes I got when putting this kit together. The suggested projects for this kit are beautiful all on their own, but I really like trying to create alternate cards using only the contents of the kit. Scroll down to see a time-lapse video of how I put this card together using one of the envelopes from the kit.

I love that this kit included brads! I love hardware on my cards, and have been missing brads and eyelets. I decided to use two brads on the label because I think it gives this card an extra “oomph”. I cut off the scalloped edge of the flap and used the Crumb Cake side as an accent on the front of my card. I also cut out the two roses from the Flower Seeds packet envelope and paired them with the green die cut leaves. I added a few of the Fresh Fig pearl embellishments and tied some ribbon around the scalloped flap piece.

I love the colors on this card, and how easy it was to put together. Dimensionals are definitely one of my favorite adhesives, and I was so glad Stampin’ Up! added a HUGE sheet of them in this month’s kit, because I doubled up a lot to get several layers on this card.

If you don’t already have a demonstrator, I would love to be your Creative Coach! How can I help you?

Stamp ‘N Hop Blog Hop with Lots of Lavender

It’s that time again! Time for the Stamp ‘N Hop Blog Hop! March’s theme is Second Chance Sale-A-Bration! We are nearing on the end of the amazing Sale-A-Bration promotion where you can earn FREE products just for shopping! Be sure to check out all the amazing products available while this promotion lasts! Today I’m featuring the Lots of Lavender Sale-A-Bration set, one of my all-time favorites!

This blog post will be quite different from my normal posts, as I do not have a coordinating video link for you. I’ve fallen ill recently and have been focusing on recovery, so I wasn’t able to get a video done for you. However, I was able to come up with this fun, crumply card! Do you like the color and crush technique? It’s when you stamp your image, color in if necessary, and then CRUMPLE it up! It gives a very vintage look that I think is so much fun!

I cut up a variety of neutral cardstock along with some beautiful 2017-2019 In Color cardstock and adhered it to a Crumb Cake cardbase. I then embossed it all with the Hexagons Dynamic TIEF. Add some layers, ribbons, and pearls and you have a fun, layered card! Oh, and don’t forget the CRUMPLING!

I used the new Stampin’ Blends in Rich Razzleberry Light & Dark to color in the lavender bunch and then used the Color Lifter to blend out the Light & Dark shades of Old Olive on the leaves. I really love these markers! They have made coloring so much more fun!
