Kre8tors Blog Hop October 2019 Fall

Welcome Kre8tors! So excited to have you here for the Kre8tors Blog Hop! Be sure to use that Next button below to hop along to the next amazing blog post for some more Autumnal inspiration!

My absolute favorite season is Fall/Autumn. It’s when the leaves change from bright green to red, yellow, and orange, the air starts to get crisp, but the sun is still shining. I love it! So I took my love for Fall and the changing leaves as my inspiration for my Fall inspired card.

Of course I had to use the Rooted in Nature stamp set and coordinating dies to create this lovely card. That stamp and die set is so versatile and is perfect for SOOO many different occasions!

Stamping the leaves in so many different colors was highly addictive! I stamped enough so that I could make two cards. I always love to stamp a little extra to use later. It’s a big time saver!

I used the Tufted embossing folder on the background for a more plush look behind my falling leaves. I love the white mat on the white card base because the colors of the leaves and the texture of the background really stand out!

I used the Delicata Celestial Copper ink for the sentiment and I can’t believe the amount of sparkle! It’s perfect for this card! The copper really compliments the Fall colors of the leaves. I’m so happy with the way this card turned out! Be sure to check out my YouTube tutorial to see how it all came together AND to hear about a giveaway for my 5,000 YouTube subscriber milestone!

Also, the new trimmer is here! It’s currently only available to demonstrators, and new recruits can add it to their starter kits! If you’d like to join my team, click on the Join My Team link at the top of the page! The customer date is TBD, so keep checking back for more information.

ICS Blog Hop Fabulous Fall

Hello Kre8tors and welcome to another Blog Hop! We are hopping with the Inspire, Create, & Share Blog Hop today! The theme this month is Fabulous Fall and I am BEYOND EXCITED about this one! I love everything Fall! Colder weather, cozy snuggles, glowing candles, warm beverages… Ahhh! So much YES! Join us as we celebrate my favorite season with some beautiful Fall inspired projects!

Be sure to scroll down to the bottom of the post and click that Next button when you’re done here to hop along to the next amazing project!

I decided to take a Christmas set and turn it into my Fall inspiration for this blog hop. I used the Tidings All Around bundle from the brand new Holiday Catalog (which is live TODAY!) with some of our brand new In Colors to create this wonderful wreath.

The sentiment “I am thankful for you” came from a classic set, Painted Harvest, which is available in the Annual Catalog. It’s a beautiful set, one which I almost used for this month’s project, but I opted to challenge myself and see how I could turn a Christmas stamp set into a Fall project.

The wreath was cut from some Pretty Peacock cardstock, and the branch and “wheat” top accents are done with Early Espresso and Terracotta Tile. I really love the punch of rusty-orange the Terracotta Tile lends to this project. I think it really ties together the colors and screams Fall!

I’m so THANKFUL that you stopped by to see my project today! Don’t forget to hop along to Audra’s blog to see what exciting project she has created for you! Click the Next button below!

Kre8tors Autumn Color Challenge

Hello, Kre8tors! I’m Melissa from Melissa’s Kre8tions. Welcome back to the 2018 Kre8tors Blog Hop! Today we are celebrating Autumn with a color challenge! I’ve provided our hop participants with the following color palette to create their projects. I think they’ve all done an amazing job, what do you think? If you’d like to create your own project using this color scheme, upload a picture of your finished project to social media and tag me on your post so that I can see your wonderful creation and share it with my followers! See the Social Media buttons at the bottom of this post to find out where you can share!

So, our color challenge theme is Autumn, and the photo above is the inspiration for our color palette. I challenged our lovely demonstrators with using at least 3 out of 5 of the colors above, and in addition to those, they are allowed to use black, white, and vanilla. Here’s what I came up with!

As I was perusing Pinterest, I came across a photo that had a beautiful dark background with colorful leaves all over. I clicked on the photo to find out more, however there was no link to follow. The only information that was on the pin said Patsy Collins and Josephs Coat Technique. She did a great job using the photo to show step by step how this technique works. I wanted to recreate her technique using the beautiful Rooted in Nature stamp set. I am in LOVE with how it turned out!

The colors I chose to use are Pumpkin Pie, Real Red, and Granny Apple Green. We were allowed to use Black and Whisper White as well. I think these colors are so beautiful together! They remind me of Autumn and rainbow sherbet ice cream! Yum!

Check out my video tutorial to learn how to make this fun and colorful background using the Joseph’s Coat Technique! Don’t forget to hop around to all of the very talented demonstrators that are part of our wonderful Kre8tors Blog Hop! They’ve all worked very hard on these projects! Click the next button below, and use the Roll Call list if you get lost along the way.

Fall Inspiration

Hello Kre8tors and welcome back! Today we are hopping with the Inspire, Create, & Share Blog Hop! We are a group of international Stampin’ Up!®️Demonstrators who love paper crafting and sharing. Today’s theme is Fall For All! I’m so excited for this hop because Autumn is my favorite time of year. The air gets crisper, the days get shorter, and it’s the best time to get cozy and snug with mugs of coffee and lit candles! It’s the absolute best!

My project today features two amazing products from the Holiday Catalog. The Winter Woods Bundle and the Tin Tile Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. These two products are my absolute favorites from this catalog and I am so pleased with how this Fall inspired card turned out.

I’m also using a fun technique that I first saw from fellow demonstrator, Patty Bennett, on her YouTube channel. She uses several layers of ink on a stamp to create beautiful, variegated images using the Stamparatus. I thought that technique was so fun, I really had to try it myself and thought this Autumn Card would be the perfect opportunity to bring in some of those gorgeous Fall colors!

There are so many fantastic products in this hop! Be sure to scroll down to the bottom of this page and click the Next button to hop on over to Candy’s blog to see her adorable project using the Trick or Tweet stamp set!

Beautiful FALL Bouquet

This Beautiful FALL Bouquet card was inspired by a bouquet of flowers in my living room. I love how FALL these flowers look with the four main colors and it was super easy to put together!

I also use some adhesive sheets to turn the thinlit shapes into STICKERS to make it WAY easier to adhere to the card than trying to use liquid glue. See how I do it in this video and be sure to comment, like, and click the subscribe button at the end of the video!
