Stamp Out Hunger 2016

This year’s event was a success! We raised over $1200 and 1300 pounds of food! The door prizes were a big hit and the raffle prizes were great too!

One of the raffle prizes was a night in a gorgeous hotel off the Pier and this basket full of goodies.
Here’s the banner.

A quilt donated by my mother for another raffle prize.

Simple yet versatile

So I was playing in the craft room the other day and saw a card that inspired me to make this simple yet versatile design. It’s great for any occasion! Guys or girls, birthday to sympathy, just add a saying off to the right and you’re good to go!

Used a dark green card base, Crumb Cake for a second layer, Whisper White, then used three shades of green for the “brushed” background and stamped the pine from Lovely As A Tree. Added some twine and voila! Quick and easy card ready in minutes!

Order a set by contacting me! I can customize any order with quantity, sayings, or other cards or gift wrapping. Order a stationary set that includes a decorative box to house the cards and envelopes to give to a special friend.

The Craft-In Craft Fair

Well, I participated in the first ever Craft-In at the Drive-In Craft Fair, unfortunately for me, it wasn’t too great. The show was a lot of fun, and there were some awesome vendors, but I think some of my products were a little too specific. Everyone that came by the booth kept picking up my roving and asking, “Oh, is this yarn?” ^_^ I politely replied, “No, but you can turn it into yarn.” They expressed how they could never be able to do that, and set it down and walked away. ~_~ But, that doesn’t mean that if I have the right audience, I can’t do another show! So bring on the Fiber Fairs!

Anyways, here are some pictures of the show. My boyfriend did a great job with the photos, as usual! ^_^ If you see any items that you absolutely can’t live without, check out these shops to find them! Melissa’s Kre8tions and Spinning Sisters
