Ink Stamp Share Blog Hop – Masculine Cards

Welcome back, Kre8tors! Today we are hopping with the International Ink. Stamp. Share. Monthly Blog Hop and today’s theme is Masculine! I hope you enjoyed Linda’s wonderful project and be sure to scroll down to that next button to hop on over to Deb’s blog for some awesome inspiration! I’m really excited about this theme because I don’t often think to make cards for the guys in my life, but I always seem to need them! I was so excited to play with the Painted Seasons stamp set so I decided to use the pinecone and fern from the set on my card.

I knew I wanted to use some of the Wood Textures Designer Series Paper on this masculine card, and I had lots of scraps! So I decided to cut up 4 different patterns and use them as panels in the background.

I stamped the pinecones and fern from the Painted Seasons Sale-A-Bration set, and cut them out by hand, also known as fussy cutting. I love how detailed this stamp set looks! I stamped the ‘Thanks’ from the Thankful Thoughts set that can be found in the Annual Catalog.

I popped up all the panels using dimensionals, a LOT of dimensionals. Watch the video to see just how many I used! I finished it all off with some Classic Weave Ribbon in Crumb Cake and boom! Done! This was a fast and simple masculine card!

Kre8tors Blog Hop Sympathy Cards

Hello Kre8tors! Welcome back to my blog. Today is a special edition because it’s once again time for the Kre8tors Blog Hop! Where a group of Stampin’ Up!®️Independent Demonstrators from around the globe get together to inspire you with beautiful projects! This month’s theme is Sympathy. I have experienced quite a few losses in the month of September, so I thought I would honor those people in my own way, by using my creativity to inspire and share with others.

For my Sympathy card, I decided to use Flourishing Phrases, a classic in the Annual Catalog. It is such a versatile set and so beautiful for a card like this. I wanted to use Gray Granite and Mint Macaron, and think this combination is beautiful with this stamp set.

I love using our Whisper White ribbons and baker’s twine because I can dye it any color I need with our ink! I used that technique on this card to match my ribbon with the Mint Macaron. I also used some of the gorgeous basic adhesive backed sequins to add a little bling. Check out my video tutorial below, and don’t forget to hop along to the other demonstrator’s blogs and see their beautiful, heartfelt projects.

February 2018 Kre8tors Blog Hop with Lots of Lavender

Welcome to the February 2018 Kre8tors Blog Hop! This is our second hop, and I’m so excited to continue working with so many talented demonstrators in sharing our passion for paper crafting! If you’d like to check out our first blog hop, you can start at 2018 Kre8tors Blog Hop – Occasions Petal Palette. Be sure to click the Next button at the bottom of this post to hop over to Amy’s blog to check out her fantastic project! In case you get lost along the hop, there is also a Roll Call list below the Next button.

For my Sale-A-Bration item I decided to use the Lots of Lavender stamp set. This is a GORGEOUS set and it’s really versatile. I’ve used this set on my Clean & Quick Card and thought it came out beautifully, but wanted to step it up a little. So this card was born!

I love how clean this card looks with just two main colors and a pop of an accent color. I used Rich Razzleberry for most of the coloring as well as my accent pieces and cardbase. Lemon Lime Twist was used to color in the leaves and stem. I did use just a touch of the Powder Pink in the ribbon holding the lavender bunch together. Oh, and we can’t forget the Clear Wink of Stella to give it the slightest shimmer.

The Stampin’ Blends are so much fun to color with! I used both the light and dark Rich Razzleberry markers to color in the petals on my lavender bunch. I decided to keep the petals full color and not use the Color Lifter to blend it out. I really like how crisp this looks against the white accents on the card. I also used some beautiful Classic Weave Ribbon in Whisper White to lace behind the lavender bunch.

Since the Lots of Lavender stamp set doesn’t come with any sentiments, I opted to use the Petal Palette Bundle to add the finishing touches to the card. I used both the label framelit and trellis thinlit to spruce up my sentiment at the bottom of the card. This paired with the Stitched Shapes Framelits and the Layering Ovals Framelits, I thought the card really came together well. I also added a little more pops of green for contrast with the Glitter Enamel Dots. LOVE the bling!

This project was so fun to put together! I hope you enjoy the video tutorial towards the bottom of this post to see how it all came together. Don’t forget to check out the other members of this Blog Hop by viewing the Roll Call List at the bottom of this post, and clicking the Next button to continue on through the hop!
