Sea of Textures Birthday Card

Hello Kre8tors and welcome! Today I’m sharing the birthday card that I made for my niece, who just turned 2! I wanted to make a special card for her that matched the wrapping on her gift. The colors I chose were Night of Navy, Crumb Cake, and Basic Gray. I love these neutrals together and think they made a beautiful card.

I CASE’d this card from the lovely Stamp It Up With Jaimie. You can see her original card by clicking here. I did change a few things such as the colors, but stuck mostly with the same overall design. I really loved the simplicity of the card, and the clean look it has.

I had to add a little sparkly shimmer so I used my Clear Wink of Stella Glitter Brush and painted the octopus to make him shine. I also threw in a few of the Basic Jewels Rhinestones for a little more sparkle. I really enjoyed how this card turned out! What do you think?

Measurements:

Basic Gray Card Base: 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″, Score @ 4-1/4″
Night of Navy Card Mat: 3-3/4″ x 5″
Whisper White Card Mat: 3-5/8″ x 4-7/8″ (+scrap)
Whisper White Inner Mat: 4″ x 5-1/4″

Welcome to 2018 Kre8tors! I’m SOO excited to start this year off CRAFTY with a Clean & Quick Card! I hope your Holidays were amazing, and I’m so glad that you’re here with me to kick off this New Year! What are your crafting goals? Are you wanting to build up your stamp and supply stash? Are you looking to use up what you have? Are you wanting to kick into high gear and start your own crafty venture? Whatever your plans are, I want to be there with you when you start! Talk to me about becoming a hobbyist or business owner with Stampin’ Up!’s great products as an Independent Demonstrator and join my growing team of wonderful and supportive ladies (or gents!)

I’ve brought Tranquil Tulips in for another Clean & Quick Card for you today. Even though my previous card, Card #12, in this series used the same set, it has a totally different look! I love how much mileage one stamp set can get me when I get creative! One of my favorite things about this series of cards is most of them don’t require any adhesive and just ONE piece of cardstock! (With the exception of some stepped up versions, that is.)

Flash Card – Thank You

I was working on a ton of Thank You cards today and as I was putting them together, I thought to myself, maybe someone out there might want to see how one of these came together?

I used Stampin’ Up!’s One Big Meaning and another product that will be available on September 1 from the Holiday Catalog, Tin of Cards stamp set.

I love how this card turned out, and I love the Very Vanilla, Smoky Slate, Perfect Plum, and Elegant Eggplant color combinations.
