Sea of Textures Birthday Card

Hello Kre8tors and welcome! Today I’m sharing the birthday card that I made for my niece, who just turned 2! I wanted to make a special card for her that matched the wrapping on her gift. The colors I chose were Night of Navy, Crumb Cake, and Basic Gray. I love these neutrals together and think they made a beautiful card.

I CASE’d this card from the lovely Stamp It Up With Jaimie. You can see her original card by clicking here. I did change a few things such as the colors, but stuck mostly with the same overall design. I really loved the simplicity of the card, and the clean look it has.

I had to add a little sparkly shimmer so I used my Clear Wink of Stella Glitter Brush and painted the octopus to make him shine. I also threw in a few of the Basic Jewels Rhinestones for a little more sparkle. I really enjoyed how this card turned out! What do you think?

Measurements:

Basic Gray Card Base: 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″, Score @ 4-1/4″
Night of Navy Card Mat: 3-3/4″ x 5″
Whisper White Card Mat: 3-5/8″ x 4-7/8″ (+scrap)
Whisper White Inner Mat: 4″ x 5-1/4″

Delicate Daisy Delight Card

Can we just talk about this card for a second? I’m in LOVE with it! Daisy Delight has always been one of my favorite sets, but it wasn’t until I REALLY started to play around with it that I realized just how much use I would get out of it.

This card features Powder Pink with Basic Gray and that color combination is really grabbing my attention! Not to mention sprucing it up with some BRAND NEW products from the Occasions 2018 catalog! I’ve added the beautiful Silver Baker’s Twine behind the sentiment for a little extra bling.

Measurements:

Cardbase: 4-1/4″ x 11″, score @ 5-1/2″
Scrap Whisper White

I’ve brought Tranquil Tulips in for another Clean & Quick Card for you today. Even though my previous card, Card #12, in this series used the same set, it has a totally different look! I love how much mileage one stamp set can get me when I get creative! One of my favorite things about this series of cards is most of them don’t require any adhesive and just ONE piece of cardstock! (With the exception of some stepped up versions, that is.)

Stamping Saturday 2 of 4: Painted Harvest CASED Card

I draw a lot of my card inspiration from Pinterest so when I saw Bonnie O’Neill‘s card, I was too excited and had to share it with my group during Stamping Saturday!

This lovely card features the Painted Harvest Bundle along with some of the Painted Autumn Designer Series Paper. I’ve also used the finely woven ribbon in Crumb Cake and substituted a 1/2″ Circle Punch for the Polka Dot Basics Embossing Folder.

This is the second project from my latest Stamping Saturday session. Check for the other 3 videos for more great projects and don’t forget to join me over on my Facebook page for the next live session!

December 16 Paper Pumpkin ALTERNATES!

I know, I know! I’m late! But better late than never, right? Here are my alternates for the December 16 Paper Pumpkin kit!

The first alternate is using NOTHING else besides the kit contents! I love to do this when I can so that you can make cards without any additional supplies!

My second alternate just adds a few items and transforms this kit into MAGIC! Magic cards, that is! Love this fun magic card that uses the new Watercolor Pencils!
