Hello Kre8tors! If you’re new here, welcome! If you’re a returning reader, thanks for coming back! Can we just talk about the Bloom & Grow stamp set for just a sec…. It’s AMAZING! This is the first project I’ve made with it, but I am absolutely in LOVe and have big plans now!
I needed some quick and beautiful thank you cards, and this set made the PERFECT cards! Add a couple simple embellishments, and BOOM, beautiful cards in minutes!
I started with a basic Whisper White card base, and layered a 2-1/2″ square on top. I used the thank you sentiment from the Bloom and Grow stamp set, and added a few of the smaller leaves and twig stamps.
I colored those in with the Old Olive Stampin’ Blend Duo (light and dark) and then added some Poppy Parade to the little berries. I also used the Poppy Parade Stampin’ Blend in Dark to color in the Epoxy Hearts. It works BEAUTIFULLY! If you haven’t tried it yet, I suggest you do!
I also added some of our Burlap Ribbon behind the layered square for a little extra OOMPH. I have a little trick for getting the MOST MILEAGE out of your ribbon. Check it out in my video below!
Measurements:
Whisper White Card Base: 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″, Scored @ 4-1/4″
Whisper White Layering Square: 2-1/2″ x 2-1/2″

For my Sale-A-Bration item I decided to use the Lots of Lavender stamp set. This is a GORGEOUS set and it’s really versatile. I’ve used this set on my Clean & Quick Card and thought it came out beautifully, but wanted to step it up a little. So this card was born!
I love how clean this card looks with just two main colors and a pop of an accent color. I used Rich Razzleberry for most of the coloring as well as my accent pieces and cardbase. Lemon Lime Twist was used to color in the leaves and stem. I did use just a touch of the Powder Pink in the ribbon holding the lavender bunch together. Oh, and we can’t forget the Clear Wink of Stella to give it the slightest shimmer.
The Stampin’ Blends are so much fun to color with! I used both the light and dark Rich Razzleberry markers to color in the petals on my lavender bunch. I decided to keep the petals full color and not use the Color Lifter to blend it out. I really like how crisp this looks against the white accents on the card. I also used some beautiful Classic Weave Ribbon in Whisper White to lace behind the lavender bunch.
Since the Lots of Lavender stamp set doesn’t come with any sentiments, I opted to use the Petal Palette Bundle to add the finishing touches to the card. I used both the label framelit and trellis thinlit to spruce up my sentiment at the bottom of the card. This paired with the Stitched Shapes Framelits and the Layering Ovals Framelits, I thought the card really came together well. I also added a little more pops of green for contrast with the Glitter Enamel Dots. LOVE the bling!
This project was so fun to put together! I hope you enjoy the video tutorial towards the bottom of this post to see how it all came together. One of my favorite things is when a project comes together from a flicker of an idea. This Stained Glass card was inspired by the January Paper Pumpkin Kit, Heartfelt Loves Notes. After putting all of the beautiful Valentines Cards together from this kit, I had a few pieces left over. Specifically the left overs from punching out all the labels. When I saw that piece, I immediately thought it would be perfect for a window! So I had to whip this beautiful card together.
I used several pieces from the Paper Pumpkin Kit including the label negative piece, metallic edged ribbon, Rich Razzleberry Enamel Dots, a piece from the card bases included in the kit, and a stamp from the included stamp set.
The stained glass was so much fun to make! I started by using some images from the Petal Palette stamp set and heat embossed them using Copper Stampin’ Emboss Powder on vellum. Then I layered it with the label negative piece.
The Stampin’ Blends are perfect for coloring ribbon, like the included Metallic Edge Ribbon from January’s kit. It’s almost addicting how fun it is to color the ribbon with our blends! I just want to color the whole spool!
This card was so much fun to put together, I think I may be using this technique quite often to build some truly inspiring cards! I love using bits and pieces from the Paper Pumpkin Kits to make alternate cards, like my Love Notes Sketch Card.
Measurements:
Rich Razzleberry Cardbase: 4-1/4″ x 11″, score @ 5-1/2″
Whisper White Mat: 4″ x 5-1/4″
Vellum: Cut to size depending on your stained glass frame.
