Elegant Poinsettia (Last Christmas Card)

Hello Kre8tors and welcome to Wednesday! And a very special Wednesday it is because I’ve brought you a gorgeous, elegant poinsettia using the Climbing Orchid Bundle along with a few other products.

The first one I made was with red and gold, and the one featured in the video is vanilla and silver. I am so very pleased with how both of these turned out! This is probably my favorite Christmas card of the season, right up there with my Eclipse card and the Merry Patterns card.

Poinsettia from Scratch

I wanted to replicate a pattern on my leggings, but didn’t have the poinsettia punch so I improvised! It’s a bit of a mish-mash, but I think for what I had on hand it came out pretty well. I used a LOT of different framelits and thinlits to get this beautiful Christmas flower, so be sure to check below for all the materials used.

I love finding inspiration for my cards in unexpected places, and I think finding inspiration from a clothing item is so awesome! It’s a color combination that I would have NEVER put together myself, so I’m glad I got out of my comfort bubble to give this a go!

Measurements

Christmas Coffee Cup Card

There’s something about a simple monochromatic card that just tickles my fancy, especially when the color is PINK! Berry Burst is the PERFECT color for this fun and festive Christmas card using the Coffee Cafe & Merry Cafe stamp sets.

For a little twist to the traditional card, I decided to change up how I normally stamp my sentiments, positioning one in a vertical alignment.

SERIES: Tag #3 Season Like Christmas

The final tag in my 3 part series for my Christmas tags this year features one of my favorite sets, Season Like Christmas! I think this 2-step stamp is lovely and captures the spirit of the Christmas Tree. I also love how the Garden Trellis embossing folder gives the accent piece such a lovely boost of character. I can’t wait to put these tags on my packages!

SERIES: Tag #1 Snowflake Sentiments

Welcome to my 3 part video series for my Christmas Tags this year! Here’s our first tag using the fun Snowflake Sentiments Bundle. I love heat embossing with metallics and the silver really goes well with the Smoky Slate background! The edgelits in this bundle are just stunning, and I love how it adds a whimsical touch to the snowflakes!
