Paper Pumpkin Pop Up Blog Hop Grown With Kindness

Welcome back to the Paper Pumpkin Pop Up Blog Hop! We are a group of Stampin’ Up! Independent Demonstrators collaborating to bring you some fantastic alternate projects that you can make using the contents of the February 2019 kit, Grown with Kindness. After you read my post, be sure to click on the Next button below to hop on over to Darla’s blog to see her awesome alternate!

For my alternates, I used two methods: the kit supplies exclusively and introducing a few additional ink colors. The first alternate I made is the You are beautiful card with the large labels as the main focal point. I limited myself to only the supplies in the kit, and I think it turned out decent.

I wanted to use the included stamps to jazz up the background. I layered several labels together to create my focal point, and used the included black baker’s twine to wrap the sentiment a few times. I finished it off with a little bling from the included rhinestones.

The card base I used was the solid black base, but I knew I wanted a clean, white background on the front of my card, so I turned it inside out. I used one of the succulent/cactus photos on the inside so that I would have a light area to stamp a greeting or write my sentiments to the recipient. I thought this would work really well, and I was really pleased with that idea!

For my second alternate card, I decided to introduce a few more colors to stamp some of the fun patterns. I included Mint Macaron, Lemon Lime Twist, and Basic Gray. I also decided to cut out the two coffee cups in the foreground of the same image I used on the first card. I used the included glue dots to stick down the cactus cup and popped up the succulent cup with the dimensionals I had left over from the kit. I love how the popped up coffee cup looks.

Take a peek below at a few more photos of my alternate projects and some close ups of the details. At the end of this post I have a video showing how I created these alternate projects. You can also check it out directly on my YouTube channel.

Hello Kre8tors! Welcome back to the Paper Pumpkin Pop Up Blog Hop! This month we are popping up because there is something spectacularly spooky here! The September ’18 Kit, Frights & Delights! This special edition kit is perfect for the Halloween season! It came with three adorable little goodie bags and tags that allowed us a vessel to fill yummy treats and pass around.

Which style is your favorite?

June 2018 Paper Pumpkin Pop Up Blog Hop

Welcome, Kre8tors, to the June 2018 Paper Pumpkin Pop Up Blog Hop! I’m so excited to share an alternate project from this month’s Paper Pumpkin Kit, Broadway Star. I absolutely adore the colors in this kit! Green, Pink, and Gold… what more could a girl ask for?!

This alternate card was a lot of fun to put together, and it was so quick! I used the envelope for the card mat by cutting it down to 4″ x 5-1/4″. I also used an additional piece of Basic Black cardstock for the card base, cut to 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ and scored at 4-1/4″.

For the main embellishment, I took one of the Broadway Billboards and put two cakes on it, along with some of the sticker candles. It would look super cute if you added a few pearls to the cakes!

I stamped the Congrats sentiment in Lovely Lipstick, and then wrapped the bakers twine around the card mat twice and finished it off with a bow. I used a mini glue dot to hold the bow in place.

And finally for the inside, I added one of the Whisper White banner stickers along with a Gold Foil Hooray sticker. I just love how it shines!

I hope you enjoyed this alternate project today! Don’t forget to scroll down and watch my video tutorial for this card. Scroll all the way down to the pumpkin icon and click it to continue hopping with the rest of the demonstrators for this Paper Pumpkin Pop Up Blog Hop!

Here are my alternates for this month’s Paper Pumpkin, Season of Gratitude.

I absolutely adore this kit! I love the colors, the original design of the kit (shaker cards), and the leaves are perfect for this time of year!
