3 for 1 Card Designs – Sale A Bration 2022 Friendly Hello

Friendly Hello Foil Card 2 Details

If you saw my previous post using the Friendly Hello stamp set and coordinating DSP from the January through February 2022 Sale-A-Bration flyer, then you might recognize all of the elements in this card! I wanted to show how easy it is to come up with several design layouts using the exact same materials!

I wanted to mix things up a bit and try something I haven’t done before, but still make the card easy and quick! Sometimes when you just sit down and have a go at it, you can be surprised with what you can come up with. I’m not sure if I love how I placed the gilded leafing, and looking at it now I do think I could have done a few things differently. But that’s all part of the learning process for card design, isn’t it?

What I DO love about this card is the layering I did for the bird, the sentiment, and all the accent pieces on top of the DSP. I think this is so lovely and I’m very pleased with how it came out. This is one of my favorite sets from the past few Sale-A-Bration seasons, and I think it will have a forever home in my craft room! 🥰

Kre8tors Blog Hop Sale A Bration 2022 Hello Friend Card

Welcome Kre8tors! So excited to have you here for the Kre8tors Blog Hop! Be sure to use that Next button below to hop along to the next amazing blog post for some more Sale-A-Bration inspiration!

Hello Friend Foil Card Details

For today’s project I knew I had to pick the Friendly Hello Bundle from the January/February 2022 Sale-A-Bration flyer. When I saw this adorable, little bird I knew I had to get it on a card right away!

Going into this card, I really didn’t have any idea what it would end up looking like, so when in doubt I always start with stamping! I stamped LOADS of images and then fussy cut them all out. That’s right! I fussy cut them ALL!

You can see just how many pieces I actually fussy cut in my video below. I cut so many because I knew I wanted to make more than just this one card and I don’t have a lot of time to sit down and make projects as often as I’d like.

So stamping and cutting for multiple projects at once saves me so much time! I already have the other projects filmed and I’m really hoping to get them up for you to enjoy THIS week before Sale-A-Bration ends!

When I saw the Gilded Leafing in the catalog I immediately fell in love! The way it elevates the cards speaks to my heart! I have been a fan of metallic foils and accents for a while now and you can bet I stocked up on this stuff!

If you are curious to see how I came up with my design for today’s project, be sure to watch the video below, and please consider subscribing to my YouTube channel! It would mean so much to me and would allow me to continue making content like this for you to enjoy!

Love is in the Air – January 2022 Kre8tors Blog Hop

Welcome Kre8tors! It’s been a hot minute since you’ve seen a Blog Hop from us! I’m so excited to welcome you back if you’ve missed us, and welcome you here if you’re new! Be sure to use that Next button below to hop along to the next amazing blog post for some more crafty inspiration!

Today’s project features the Sweet Talk Suite! I wanted to CASE the adorable little treat box from the January – June 2022 Mini Catalog on page 8, so I made sure to grab the entire Suite so I had everything I would need!

I was able to add the cardstock and DSP to the box using very little measuring or math! So this is a SUPER easy project to whip together!

I love how shopping in suites makes it so easy to create a bunch of different projects! I had everything I needed, along with the basic supplies I already had, to make this cute box, plus a TON more projects!

I can’t wait to fill up this adorable treat box with some homemade marshmallow hearts, or even a thin brownie.

Or I could go a completely different route and put some cute conversation hearts with actual conversations on them!

The possibilities to fill this little box are nearly endless!

Be sure you take a peek at my YouTube video below to find out how this adorable little box came together, and to see some behind the scenes on filming a quick video for TikTok.

Don’t forget, this is a BLOG hop! Be sure you visit each site below to find some more awesome inspiration for your Stampin’ Up! crafting adventures!

Kre8tors Blog Hop December 2020 Holiday

Hello everyone! Welcome to a special pop-up edition of the Kre8tors Blog Hop! So glad you could join us for this month’s hop. As the founder of the Kre8tors Blog Hop, I needed to take a little time off to realign my life’s priorities and take care of some personal matters. Now that I’ve had a few months to do just that, I wanted to have a pop-up hop this month to get back in the swing of things! And very possibly continue the hop regularly into 2021, but time will tell if that will become a reality. So make sure you follow along with your favorite demo for updates!

So, in the meantime, I hope you are enjoying your holidays this year! I hope you are all staying safe! And here is a little Holiday inspiration to hopefully help you get through the last week before Christmas!

I made three super simple cards for my Christmas cards this year. I wanted to be able to produce a lot of them in a short period of time AND I wanted to be able to mail them easily without having to be hand canceled. So I made them as flat as possible. You could definitely step these up with some dimensionals and other embellishments.

The first card features a retired Santa image, but any image could be put there to add a little something extra to the star of this card, the DSP! This specialty DSP is so incredibly fun with the different North Pole ads. Each card is unique if you use these ads to cut out and frame with decorative DSP as I’ve done here.

The second card features the bells stamped and embossed in gold, with some greenery behind it and a strip of gauze ribbon. I really like the simplicity and minimalist style of this card with the sentiment stamped below. I think the DSP helps set off the gold bells.

And lastly, we have the most simple of them all. I cut a strip of DSP to adhere to the card, trimmed the edges flush, then added my sentiment that was cut using a die cut from the Tasteful Labels Dies. I used some gold cording to tie the bells together and then adhered them with Stampin’ Seal to the DSP.

Here’s a quick little video showing how simple these cards are to assemble once all of the pieces are stamped and cut. My mother and I put a few kits together to give to my grandmother so that we could all assemble the cards together in a ZOOM meeting. Even though we weren’t in the same room, we still had a great time crafting together!

Kre8tors Blog Hop August 2020 Anniversary

Welcome Kre8tors! So excited to have you here for the Kre8tors Blog Hop! Be sure to use that Next button below to hop along to the next amazing blog post for some more anniversary inspiration!

This card is lightning fast today! It’s a very simple card that I made for my husband for our anniversary coming up on the 12th. One of his favorite colors is red, so I wanted to focus on that and use Cherry Cobbler as the base. I added a simple card mat to the front and inside. I used the Tasteful Touches stamp set and coordinating dies to cut out the label in Smokey Slate card stock. I stamped the floral sprigs with Cherry Cobbler ink and the sentiment is done with StazOn.

I just wanted to let you all know that I am taking a short break from videos and blog posts here. I will still be an active demonstrator, as long as my selling limits will allow, and I will still support my customers and team members. I’m working on a new business venture over at 3 mile lane co specializing in custom stickers, cold cups, and mugs. If you’re interested in following me over there, I will be posting to a new YouTube channel very soon. You can subscribe to that channel by clicking here.

Thank you so much for the last four years of your support! I have learned so much and grown even more. I appreciate all of your encouragement and love this community! But it’s time for me to make a decision to earn more income for my family and for myself. I hope you all understand, and know that it’s not forever, it’s just for now.

Measurements:

Card Base: 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″
Card Mat: 4″ x 5-1/4″
Scrap for Label: 3″ x 4″
