Honey Bee Bundle SAB Part 2

Hello Kre8tors! Welcome to Part 2 of our Sale-A-Bration series using the Honey Bee Bundle from the 2020 Mini Catalog along with the coordinating Golden Honey Specialty Designer Series Paper! There are so many projects you can make using these products together! Here’s another one I CASE’d from the Sale-A-Bration Flyer! This is a small gift card holder that perfectly fits an Amazon, or any type, gift card.

This bundle is perfect for a variety of cards and projects, and coordinates with the Golden Honey Specialty Designer Series Paper. I am CASEing the Sale-A-Bration (SAB) Flyer, and creating three projects for you that use this set along with that FREE paper! So be sure you follow my blog, subscribe to my YouTube channel, and find me on Facebook so you don’t miss out!

I substituted a FREE SAB product, the Metallic Baker’s Twine & Sequins, for the Daffodil Delight Ruched Ribbon as I don’t have any of that beautiful stuff quite yet… but 3 spools are on their way to me! If you were to purchase the Honey Bee Bundle, one spool of that Ruched Ribbon, and an adhesive, you would qualify to get the Golden Honey Specialty DSP for FREE! For more details, visit my online store.

There are also amazing perks for hosting a party (virtual) or joining my team. I would love to talk to you about the benefits of each option, and what extra goodies you get during SAB!

For now, let’s take a peek at what you need to make this awesome gift card holder! Check out my video tutorial below, and please let me know if there is anything I can help you with!

I can’t wait to ‘Sale-A-Brate’ every moment with you!

Honey Bee Bundle Cut-Out Card

Hello Kre8tors! I’m using the Honey Bee Bundle again from the new Mini Catalog, and some of the gorgeous Golden Honey Specialty Designer Series Paper from the Sale-A-Bration flyer! What is Sale-A-Bration, you might be asking if you are new to Stampin’ Up!? It’s a wonderful time of year where you get FREE items for shopping!

Before we dive too far into Sale-A-Bration, let’s take a look at this simple but fun Cut-Out card. I saw this card in a Facebook post from Stampin’ Up!’s CEO, Sara Douglass. I loved it so much, I had to CASE it! At first glance, I wasn’t sure how she made the background on the inside of the card, but then it hit me! It’s just some designer series paper… COLORED IN! The actual paper has a white background, but with the help of a few sponge daubers, et voila! You can customize it to your color palette!

The best part about this designer series paper (aside from the gold foil inlays?)… it’s a FREE item with a qualifying $50 purchase during Sale-A-Bration. You can earn Sale-A-Bration items for FREE right now! Head over to my online store for more details!

I really love this unique card, and the cut-out on the front is super unique. This card is a hybrid z-fold card and it’s very simple to make! Check out my video tutorial below to see how it all comes together.

The other stamps and die cuts in this bundle are perfect to create a plethora of projects! Did you see my Shaker Card post? BEE sure to go and check that one out, you don’t want to miss out! I’ll be coming out with MANY more, so be sure to follow my blog and subscribe to my YouTube channel!

Honey Bee Bundle Shaker Card

Hello Kre8tors, and welcome to 2020! I’m so excited to get this year started off with some crafty inspiration for you! Today I’m using the Honey Bee Bundle from the new Mini Catalog, which will be live for customers on January 3rd, along with Sale-A-Bration! What is Sale-A-Bration, you might be asking if you are new to Stampin’ Up!? It’s a wonderful time of year where you get FREE items for shopping!

Before we dive too far into Sale-A-Bration, let’s take a look at this amazing Shaker Card using the Honey Bee Bundle from the Mini Catalog. I cut out the honeycomb using the die from the Detailed Bee Dies, and inlayed it onto the same cutout from a piece of Whisper White cardstock. There is a piece of Window Sheet behind the honeycomb die cut, that acts as the window to our shaker card.

I used the sequins from the Metallic Baker’s Twine & Sequins Combo Pack which is a FREE item with a qualifying $50 purchase during Sale-A-Bration. You can start earning Sale-A-Bration items on January 3rd if you’re a customer, or go ahead and pre-earn NOW if you’re a demonstrator. Head over to my online store for more details! Or join my team to get your hands on these products ASAP!

I absolutely am in love with these bees! I’m normally not a bee person, but these bees are the perfect blend of not too cutesy with not too realistic. The shading on the wings is incredible, and they are so easy to color and cut!

The other stamps and die cuts in this bundle are perfect to create a plethora of projects! I’ll be coming out with MANY more, so be sure to follow my blog and subscribe to my YouTube channel!

This shaker card was inspired by Sandra Budde, a fellow Demonstrator, from Germany. She created a tutorial in German, but I absolutely had to make this card for myself, so I went ahead and made a video tutorial to share with you.

Measurements:

Whisper White Card Base: 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″, scored @ 4-1/4″
Whisper White Card Mat: 3-3/4″ x 5″
Whisper White Scraps for Bees
Window Sheet: Approx. 2-1/2″ x 2-1/2″
Daffodil Delight Shaker Card Background: Approx. 2-1/2″ x 2-1/2″
Daffodil Delight Scrap for Honeycomb: Approx. 2-1/2″ x 2-1/2″
Basic Black Scraps for Sentiments

December 2019 Kre8tors Blog Hop Christmas

Welcome Kre8tors! So excited to have you here for the Kre8tors Blog Hop! Be sure to use that Next button below to hop along to the next amazing blog post for some more Christmas project inspiration!

I’m sharing this adorable treat holder that would make a cute stocking stuffer, work goodie, place holder, etc. It’s inspired by a pin from Pinterest by Mary Fish. I thought it was adorable and had to make a Christmas version to house my tree shaped Reese’s treats.

These are super quick to whip together and would be a great project to make in bulk. If you’re looking for these yummy Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup Trees, you can find a box of them on Amazon (click to be directed through my affiliate link). This stocking stuffer goodie features a solid card stock “booklet”, a focal piece of DSP, a sentiment banner, and some beautiful ribbon.

Most all of the materials I used coordinate with the Toile Tidings suite of products in the Holiday Catalog. These products are while supplies last, so be sure to check with your demonstrator you see if they are still available.

Take a peek at my video tutorial to see how quick these come together. Don’t forget to hop along to the next blog for more festive paper crafts!

Stamper’s Showcase 2019 Holiday Catalog Favorites

Hello Kre8tors and welcome to another Blog Hop! We are hopping with the Stampers Showcase Blog Hop today! Be sure to scroll down to the bottom of the post and click that Next button when you’re done here to hop along to the next amazing project!

The project I decided to create is an adorable paper box from the gorgeous Toile Tidings Designer Series Paper. These boxes are super fun and quick to put together! In my YouTube tutorial, I show you how to calculate your measurements so that you can make a variety of sizes!

I like to have options when creating my boxes and think they look so cute on the plates at a beautifully set table for the holidays. You can put in a couple of chocolates, maybe some lottery tickets, or just cute notes to your family and friends. What would you put inside?

The length and width of all the boxes I made here are 3″ x 3″ and vary in height, with the tallest measuring 2-1/2″. You can make them so you can’t see the bottom part of the box, or make a shorter lid and a taller base so you can see the contrast. There are just so many options!

I really hope you enjoyed this project, and would love to see your boxes after you give them a try! Tag me on Instagram (@MKre8tions) so that I can share your beautiful projects!

Don’t forget to hop along to Marita’s blog to see what exciting project she has created for you! Click the Next button below!

For a 3″ x 3″ x 1-1/2″ box, you will need the following:

For a 3″ x 3″ x 2-1/2″ box, you will need the following:
