Welcome back, Kre8tors! Today we are hopping with the International Ink. Stamp. Share. Monthly Blog Hop and today’s theme is Masculine! I’m really excited about this theme because I don’t often think to make cards for the guys in my life, but I always seem to need them! I was so excited to play with the Painted Seasons stamp set so I decided to use the pinecone and fern from the set on my card.
I knew I wanted to use some of the Wood Textures Designer Series Paper on this masculine card, and I had lots of scraps! So I decided to cut up 4 different patterns and use them as panels in the background.
I stamped the pinecones and fern from the Painted Seasons Sale-A-Bration set, and cut them out by hand, also known as fussy cutting. I love how detailed this stamp set looks! I stamped the ‘Thanks’ from the Thankful Thoughts set that can be found in the Annual Catalog.
I popped up all the panels using dimensionals, a LOT of dimensionals. Watch the video to see just how many I used! I finished it all off with some Classic Weave Ribbon in Crumb Cake and boom! Done! This was a fast and simple masculine card!
