Hello Kre8tors! Welcome back, so good to see you again! Today’s video is a remake of one of my earlier cards, the Split Coloring Technique. When I originally made this card, I used the Stamp-A-Ma-Jig to get the placement on the colored in card stock and the base card stock. I received a request from Kay Capps to show how to make this card using the Stamparatus. I thought that was a brilliant idea, so here it is! Thanks for the suggestion, Kay!
I knew I wanted to use the beautiful Poppy Parade as my base color this time because I just so happen to have the Poppy Parade Stampin’ Blend markers which make coloring in so easy and fun! I paired that with Old Olive, which is a beautiful green that compliments just about any color.
Positioning the stamps was really easy, and fit beautifully together with the images from Petal Palette. I adore this set, and am so pleased with how well it works with this technique on the Stamparatus! I’m eager to make more of these cards, and play around with different placements.
Be sure to take a peek at my video tutorial, which shows you just how I achieved the look on this beautiful card. This video is slightly different from my others in the way I narrated my actions with a voice over. If you decide to watch it, let me know what you thought!
