Hello everyone and welcome to the first ever Paper Pumpkin Pop Up Blog Hop! I am so excited to be part of such a wonderful blog hop featuring alternate projects for the March 2018 Paper Pumpkin Kit by Stampin’ Up! There are some amazing projects featured by very talented demonstrators, so please be sure to scroll down to the next button to check out all of the other blogs!
I love the shabby-chic vibes I got when putting this kit together. The suggested projects for this kit are beautiful all on their own, but I really like trying to create alternate cards using only the contents of the kit. Scroll down to see a time-lapse video of how I put this card together using one of the envelopes from the kit.
I love that this kit included brads! I love hardware on my cards, and have been missing brads and eyelets. I decided to use two brads on the label because I think it gives this card an extra “oomph”. I cut off the scalloped edge of the flap and used the Crumb Cake side as an accent on the front of my card. I also cut out the two roses from the Flower Seeds packet envelope and paired them with the green die cut leaves. I added a few of the Fresh Fig pearl embellishments and tied some ribbon around the scalloped flap piece.
I love the colors on this card, and how easy it was to put together. Dimensionals are definitely one of my favorite adhesives, and I was so glad Stampin’ Up! added a HUGE sheet of them in this month’s kit, because I doubled up a lot to get several layers on this card.
If you don’t already have a demonstrator, I would love to be your Creative Coach! How can I help you?
Your support means a lot to me and helps me to continue doing what I love, which is making videos for you to enjoy.

Loved the card and the speedy video! I mentioned in my video that I want brads to come back too! I’d love to eyelets as well. Hope Stampin’ Up! hears us! LOL
Thank you, Karie! Glad you liked it. I miss my hardware! lol I used to use a lot of eyelets and brads on all of my projects. We should head over to the sandbox right now and request they come back! 😊
Gorgeous card. I love the way the embellishments enhance the card design. 🙂
Thanks so much, Tricia! There were so many fun embellishments to choose from in this kit! 😊
Stunning card! Aren’t those dimensionals the bomb.com! Thank you so very much for popping up with us in our first hop!
Thank you, Deb! I really LOVED how they included such a HUGE sheet of dimensionals in this kit! I think that could have qualified as the gift! lol So glad to be part of this fun hop, thank you so much for inviting me! 😊

Very pretty card. Love the way you used the scalloped flap, so very clever.
Thank you, Sharon! It wasn’t my original plan, but after cutting the envelope apart I knew I had to use it. I love the scalloped edge! 😊
