I’m super excited to be part of a wonderful blog hop group, Stamp ‘N Hop! This month’s theme is Anything Occasions, so I’ll be showcasing the beautiful In The Trees set! I have only really used this set on one other card, my In The Trees Black Emboss Technique but I see so much potential! This stamp set reminds me of spring, and it’s only just starting to warm up here in Oregon USA.
The Stamp ‘N Hop Blog Hop will publish every 2nd Saturday so be sure to keep checking back. Don’t forget to click the Next button at the bottom of this post to keep the hop going for more fun!
This card is so adorable and has a LOT of fussy cutting and coloring involved. It is not a Clean & Quick style card, for sure! However, if you are looking for a card that sparks your creativity and allows you to listen to music, or watch television while crafting, this is a great way to relax for lots of stampers!
This card features the In The Trees stamp set, with several of the stamps colored, cut, and adhered to the Whisper White card mat. I used my Old Olive Stampin’ Blends duo of light and dark to color in the trees, as well as a Soft Suede Stampin’ Write Marker.
I used Pacific Point with an Aqua Painter to color in the hammock, and accent the clouds.
The light strings have the look of a real bulb using the Glitter & Clear Epoxy Shapes.
This card sure does make me feel like relaxing in the shade of some tall trees on a hammock while sipping some cool lemonade.
