This weekend was pretty relaxing. I admittedly was pretty lazy but I did manage a few loads of laundry and a sink full of dishes. The sink was clean for maybe an hour. That’s when I got the bug…. The bread and biscotti bug…..
I decided to make a loaf of banana bread first. It is always a big hit with my fiancé, Garret. I use the same recipe each time and it’s always consistently moist and delicious.
The recipe comes from eating on a dime which can be found here.
It takes few, common ingredients and I typically always use thawed frozen bananas that I have saved from buying too many bananas at one time. >_<
After the banana bread was done I decided I wasn’t. I started gathering up the ingredients for biscotti.
This is the second time I’ve made this biscotti and love it! The recipe is pretty basic, calling for mini chocolate chips, but seeing as how I didn’t have any either time I made this I used what I had. The first time was mini m&m’s and this last time was white chocolate chips and almonds.
This recipe is courtesy of miss in the kitchen and can be found here.
