I work at a quilt shop, this is the window display. It’s won the community window contest for the third year in a row! (I don’t know if you can see it or not, but the pillows that are on the floor. . .I made those. 😉 )
This wall hanging is called Tuscan Vista. I made it up as a store sample. When I saw the pattern, I wasn’t too sure about how it was going to come out, but as it was closer and closer to becoming a FO (Finished Object), I think it didn’t turn out too bad.
I also frequently drop into the yarn shop across the street. I think the money that I get from working at the quilt shop just ends up going right back into the yarn shop. 😉 Well, here’s some projects that I have been working on with my wages.
This is my mom’s scarf. Nice and big, knit in 2×2 rib with size US15 candy cane needles. It’s coming along so quick thanks to the yummy bulkyness. I should have no problem getting this done in time for xmas!
And this is a sample of the slippers I’m knitting up for my grandpa. They will be felted as soon as I get the other one put together. I was hoping to have them done in time to ship to him for xmas, but I don’t think that is going to happen. Maybe he’ll have a nice pair of slippers by new years.
